Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Big Brands, Inc. ("Big Brands," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information you provide when you participate in the Relief On The Go Founding Retailer programme, including when you visit launch.bigbrands.ca, complete the pre-book registration, add a payment method, or otherwise interact with us in connection with the programme.
We are committed to handling your personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy legislation in Canada.
1. Information we collect
We collect personal information that you provide directly to us during the pre-book process, including:
- Identity information — first name, last name
- Contact information — work email address, mobile phone number
- Business information — store or company name, market vertical, number of stores, referring rep code (if applicable)
- Shipping information — street address, city, province, postal code (Canada only)
- Pre-book selection — pre-pack tiers selected and quantities
- Payment information — if you opt into VIP, your payment card details are collected and stored by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers, CVV codes, or other sensitive payment data on our servers
- Communications — any messages or feedback you send to us
Information collected automatically
When you visit our pre-book pages, we may automatically collect limited technical information, including IP address, browser type, device type, and pages viewed. We use browser local storage to temporarily hold your registration form data between steps; this data does not leave your device unless you submit the form.
2. How we use your information
We use your personal information to:
- Process and confirm your Founding Retailer pre-book reservation
- Communicate with you about your pre-book, including confirmation, ship-date notices, and order status
- Fulfill your pre-pack order and ship your free display fixture in November 2026
- Process payment when your pre-pack ships, if you have added a card on file
- Honour the 12-month wholesale price-lock and SKU Credit Guarantee terms
- Provide access to the Industry Insights Dashboard
- Send programme updates, newsletters, and offers from Big Brands and our distribution partners (you can withdraw consent at any time)
- Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
- Comply with legal and regulatory obligations
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized activity
3. Payment processing — Stripe
If you opt into the VIP upgrade, you will be redirected to Stripe, Inc., our PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor, to add a payment method to your account. Stripe collects and stores your card information directly on their secure infrastructure; Big Brands does not see or store your full card number.
Your card is saved as a payment method (Stripe Setup mode). It is not charged or pre-authorized at the time of registration. We will charge the saved card from the Stripe Dashboard only when your pre-pack physically ships in November 2026, and you will receive 72 hours' notice before any charge runs. If you have existing net terms with Big Brands, those terms apply and the saved card serves only as a backup.

4. Sharing of personal information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers — third parties that help us operate the programme (payment processing via Stripe, email delivery, hosting, analytics, CRM). These providers are contractually bound to handle your information confidentially and only for purposes we authorize
- Distribution and fulfillment partners — shipping carriers and warehouse partners who require shipping address information to deliver your pre-pack
- Industry Insights Dashboard — sell-through and category data is aggregated and anonymized before being shared with other Founding Retailers in the cohort. Your individual store data is never shared in identifiable form
- Legal compliance — when required by law, court order, or regulatory request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Big Brands, our customers, or the public
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case any successor will be bound by this Privacy Policy
5. Data retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy, including providing the 12-month wholesale price-lock and SKU Credit Guarantee, complying with our legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing our agreements. Pre-book records are typically retained for seven (7) years from your last order to satisfy Canadian tax and accounting requirements.
6. Security
We implement technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Payment data is held by Stripe under PCI-DSS Level 1 certification. Despite these measures, no online service can guarantee absolute security; we encourage you to use a unique password and report any suspected compromise to launch@bigbrandsinc.com immediately.
7. Your rights
Under PIPEDA and applicable provincial privacy laws, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
- Withdraw consent to marketing communications at any time (use the unsubscribe link in any email or contact us)
- Request deletion of your personal information, subject to our legal and contractual retention obligations
- File a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca if you believe we have not handled your information appropriately

8. Cookies and tracking
The pre-book pages use minimal browser storage to keep your form data between steps and to remember your referral code. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on the funnel. You can clear your browser's local storage at any time without affecting your ability to use the site.
9. Children
The Relief On The Go Founding Retailer programme is intended for Canadian retail businesses and their authorized representatives. The programme is not directed at individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when this Policy was most recently revised. Material changes will be communicated to active programme participants by email.
